A leader in gifted education since 1984, the Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG) provides academic summer programs for gifted and talented students ages 5-17 in top institutions across the U.S. including Princeton University, Bryn Mawr College, Emory University, Yale University, University of Miami and more. Yunasa Summer Institute for the Gifted For highly gifted middle school students (ages 10-15), Yunasa is a Lakota Indian word meaning “balance”. "Gifted and talented" basically means that you have been placed in a gifted program in school or that you have tested above the 95th percentile on a nationally normed test (we'll go over the eligibility info in more detail below). THINK Summer Institute A three-week residential experience with the chance to earn college credit for highly gifted students, ages 13 - 16. This program for gifted students provides both residential and day program solutions in seven different states throughout the US, with programs designed for children in kindergarten all the way to high school seniors. Students participate in grade-level academic courses (reading/English, math, science, social studies) each morning, and in a wide range of enrichment opportunities in the afternoon.
